Why choose Abanic Physio Bowen training?
The Bowen Technique is a manual therapy that focuses on treating the person with a specific condition, rather than the condition itself. The entire body is treated through a series of specific rolling movements, performed over muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. In this technique, the therapist acts as a facilitator, creating a piezoelectric effect through specific movements that stimulate the patient's central nervous system, to which the patient then responds.
She has specialized in the Bowen Technique since 2011 at the London Bowen School, The Bowen School for Healthcare Professionals, and continued her studies with Graham Pennington and with chiropractor Dr. Romney Smeeton, one of Bowen's six original students, and she continuously practices and refines her skills through work with patients.
She has been teaching the Bowen Technique since 2020 at the Higeja College in Zagreb, and since 2022 at the Život Rehabilitation Center in Mostar. As a Bowen Technique teacher and author of the Bowen Advanced course, she has successfully introduced more than 200 therapists to this therapy method, and continues to share her experience with students through the Bowen therapist community and individual consultations.
