ANA BANIĆ
BOWEN MASTER
She dedicated herself to physiotherapy in 1994, when she began studying physiotherapy. She gained her first experience as a physiotherapist in a community clinic, helping patients with rehabilitation after strokes, surgeries and other difficulties. Today, as a PhD, she has over 26 years of active experience in physiotherapy, 20 of which in private practice in Mali Lošinj, where she runs her own office and works with patients on a daily basis.
In parallel with her academic education, Ana has been regularly educating herself at various professional training courses for 20 years. Her primary interest is in the biomechanics of active movement, which she has been studying for 7 years, through Pilates and Yoga. She has specialized in the Bowen Technique since 2011, continuously improving her expertise, especially learning from one of Bowen's six original students, chiropractor Dr. Romney Smeeton.
After that, she continues to learn the Emmett technique, mostly under the mentorship of the author himself, Ross Emmett. In addition, she improves her skills in NKT, Dynamic Tape, DNS, Differential diagnostics, Neural Hacking and through a series of thematic workshops. By actively applying the learned techniques, she explores their synergies and effectiveness in solving specific conditions.
In her work, she pays special attention to the individual assessment and anamnesis of the patient, striving to view and treat the entire person, not just the localized issue. Due to her exceptional success in alleviating painful conditions, she has gained the trust of many patients, who often turn to her as their first choice for addressing pain and musculoskeletal issues.
